There has been extensive press coverage this week of the settlement between the UK government and our client, #torture victim and #Guantanamo ‘forever prisoner’ #AbuZubaydah. I am pleased that most reports emphasize that compensation is significant but insufficient - and note the importance of securing his release and relocation after 24 years of arbitrary detention without charge or trial.
